Ratangad, which translates to ‘Jewel Fort’ is approximately
400 yrs old. It boasts a splendid 360 degree view of a range of mountains from
its summit. Due to its proximity to Bhandardara, you get a clear bird’s-eye
view of Arthur lake, as well as a glimpse of the famous Kalsubai peak,
Harishchandragad and AMK. The ‘Eye of the Needle’ or ‘Nedhe’ is a famous
attraction on the summit. This trek has a wonderful combination of forest
walks, steep ladder climbs and flat trails under canopies. Join us for a night
climb filled with wonder, campfire and stories.
